  • Medical Disorders: There are various systemic disorders that contribute to the development of back pain. These include spondylolisthesis, pancreatitis, kidney disorders, gall bladder inflammation or stones, myopathies, scoliosis, different forms of arthritis such as ankylosing spondylolisthesis, osteoarthritis and even rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Infectious Diseases: Tuberculosis is one of the most common causes of lower back pain. Other causes includes shingles or herpes infections.
  • Cancerous Conditions: Multiple myeloma, metastasis from prostate cancer or bone tumors can produce back pain.

Possible Symptoms of Back Pain

These include fever, a history of trauma due to accidents, or numbness and tingling or posture and movement problems. Simple back pain may also be felt.
